FILM AND DIGITAL MEDIA EXCHANGE: PROJECT COORDINATOR

We are seeking applications for the post of Film and Digital Media
Exchange: Project Coordinator in the East Anglian Film Archive (a part of
the University of East Anglia). This is an exciting opportunity for someone
with a strong grounding in and commitment to film and television archiving,
and to knowledge exchange and commercial partnerships between higher
education and the film and digital media industries.
You will coordinate the University of East Anglia’s contributions to the
Film and Digital Media Exchange (FDMX), a collaborative, regional
initiative, led by the University of Hertfordshire, and funded through the
Higher Education Innovation Fund. The University of East Anglia has
identified the East Anglian Film Archive (EAFA) as the home for its FDMX
work, and you will develop and deliver a range of education, training,
access and commercial development activities related to the work of EAFA
and in line with the strategic plan for FDMX.
This post is available from 1 August 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter
on a full-time basis. The post is offered on a fixed term contract for two
years in the first instance. Salary will be on the Other Related Grade 2
salary scale, in the range of £22,507 to £29,128 per annum (1st August 2005
pay award pending).
