Position: GIS Graduate - Permanent
The role is an opportunity for a GIS graduate to build upon their existing
GIS skills within our dynamic GIS team, initially this would be creating,
managing, analysing and displaying cartographic information in support of
the activities of our Hydrologists, Hydraulic Modellers, Environmental
Engineers and planners.
You will be expected to develop a wider appreciation of the challenges
facing the sectors in which we work, and to develop a problem solving
capability to actively contribute to our projects using your GIS Skills. We
are looking for candidates who are qualified to a least B.Sc. and ideally
have a background in science, mathematics, environment or a related field.
Experience in either ArcGIS or MapInfo GIS software is essential.
At interview we will be looking to provide you specific projects that we
work on, our training programme and our aspirations for the successful
candidate. In return we would be looking to discuss your career to date,

whilst maintaining attention to detail, to explore examples of your
computational and analytical skills and finally to discuss your career
aspirations.
This opportunity is for a permanent contract within our successful team, we
will be seeking to make a long term appointment to a person who has the
right potential, aptitude and personality to mix in with our team.
