at Edinburgh's Telford College (RSC Scotland N&E):
1. Databases on the Web (17th November)
This is a practical workshop that will enable you to effectively
publish database-driven content on the web. The workshop will
introduce the tools available and the techniques required to use
them. Topics covered include Microsoft Access, Active Server Pages
(ASP) and PHP with MySQL.
2. Exploring XML (18th November)
This practical workshop, aimed at experienced HTML authors,
introduces a wide range of new and exciting possibilities using XML.
Topics include: What is XML? Creating XML documents, Using XSLT &
XPath for data transformations, Server-side XSLT, XML applications
including XHTML, SMIL & RSS.
