Dear Amit,
I do not know AFNI, but this could be an alternative:
You can easily draw ROIs in MRIcro, and under the ROI menu you can find 'export ROI as analyze' to get it to Analyze (ones within ROI, zeros outside).
Cheers,
Bas

Onderwerp: [SPM] Transfer of ROI from AFNI to SPM
We have specific ROIs drawn in AFNI (in Tailarch space and with Tailarach
coordinates, which is easier to do in AFNI). We would like to import
these ROIs into SPM so that we can extract signal change data from these
ROIs in SPM where we are doing our analysis. Is there a good way of doing
that. A preliminary attempt by importing the ROIs as an ANALYZE file did
not work as the ROIs did not come up on the structures originally
identified. Is there a way of normalizing the ROI ANALYZE file made in
AFNI to MNI space??
