ecsite Annual Conference, 10-12 June
Heureka, the Finnish Science Centre, Helsinki-Vantaa
One conference theme for 2005 is 'Towards the future of science centres'.
The Lisbon Strategy - Europe as the most competitive knowledge based economy
in the world - implies a key role for science centres and museums as
vehicles in the process of improving public engagement with science and
strengthening scientific culture. How can science centres play that role?
The preliminary conference programme and registration information are
available at www.ecsite.net
