You may be interested in this event at Highwire City Learning Centre. At
Highwire, students make multimedia websites including digital video to
communicate and develop curriculum ideas. This annual science showcase, is a
celebration of the multimedia science work from our secondary school
students. This year's crop is pretty special. It includes multimedia science
games, plasticine stop-motion animation of chemical processes and a sneak
preview into our current project 'Genetics and Citizens', funded by the
Wellcome Trust as a society award, and which will be officially launched in
May.
The showcase is on Monday 14th March at Highwire CLC, Shoreditch Campus,
Falkirk Street, N1; nearest tube Old Street or a 149/242 bus from Liverpool
Street.
From 4 - 7pm Refreshments early. Presentations at 5.30
You will have the opportunity to view students’ work and get free resources
and CD ROMs.
