At the uni I used to work in, we had a table near the English dept office
that often offered 'free books'. Studnets and other staff would often go
through it - I have Donne's poems and a Brecht Plays volume from there. When
Andrew Taylor left his office, he gave me all his back issues of Evergreen
Review, Coyote's Jounral and a couple of Kayaks, etc. Wonderful for me, and
generous from him. When two well-known Australian poets married, they found
they had a lot of duplication their bookshelves, so I received a large
parcel in the post with many of the US poets' volumes from the 60s and 70s
...
Good luck with it, guys. Give 'em to homes that will appreciate them ...
Andrew

Ah, we have a little office on the inside of the building, with about
20 names on it already. A place to drop your coat before heading for
the library, i guess. So I hope to have some help with the books I'm
donating to the library. Many papers, like old extra exam copies will
just go to recycling. A lot of stuff, will have to find boxes, &
then...?
I'm not sure 2 months is enough!
I also cannot bring home (m) any books etc. No room, & I know it.
(one just sort of bumbled on, accumulating, & thinking this day would
never [quite] come)
