More impediments to the "war against terror"

Plus the Guardian this morning is reporting that the Military
"justice" system in this country was condemned by a law lord. This is
in relation to the military "investigations" into the prisoner abuse
allegations against British troops in Iraq. The evasiveness by
authority in this case - for example, crimes committed abroad by
British troops don't come under the Human Rights Act clauses - have
been criticized in no uncertain terms.
So to counter Marks (well-founded) pessimism, I think these are
glimmers of hope.
