I am at a bit of a disadvantage here because, old fart though I may be, I
never saw the Stones perform live, though I saw a tape or film here and
there. Which gave me just enough of a view of Jagger to validate a comment
from I think George Carlin that Mick Jagger pranced around like a rooster
on acid. The Village Voice years back ran a story on one of the Stones' NY
appearances, with someone claiming to have walked in on Jagger in the men's
room, busily stuffing wadded-up paper towels down the front of his
excessively tight pants. I'm sure he didn't invent that schtick.
Apparently the Stones have yet another CD due for release later this
year. No doubt it will be accompanied by concert tour. My girlfriend and
I figured that this time around, Mick, Keith and the boys will be playing
not in Madison Square Garden but in an assisted living facility.
Then again, with those guys, who knows? Keith might show up with another
17-year-old girl.
