not the Gulistan page--a silly oversight on my part that I will need to fix
soon--and click on the links titled Prologue and Story One From The Manner

I go your message both ways, &, although not a translator myself (so
I'll be interested to see what some of them on the list have to say), I
found your thoughts on the matter interesting. The further 'side' of it
has to do with the translator's epoch & what works then, though I guess
that's implicit. But I'd agree, if you did try for rhyming couplets it
would come across to most of the readers you want to reach as arch
etc...
A truly interesting project.
