What I meant was more like, "You'll get this, so I don't have to expand, and
I'm too lazy to explain to the rest of the list." But it does come over as
rather rude and dismissive -- not intended, I assure you. That bloody
"presume" -- does seem a little patronising, doesn't it? If I'd been
thinking clearly, I'd simply have left it out -- "I could expand, but you'll
get the point, Peter."]

Wasn't trying to be snitty over the whole business, just, "That's how it was
with us [stress on us rather than them] then."
