It certainly gives a bit of perspective when you sit down to write every
day. The first time I saw Saturn was when my husband showed it to me through
a small telescope: the image was about as big as a matchbook but thrilling
to see this fragile thing, that you knew to be massive, suspended there.
Impossible to believe that it wasn't a image, that it was more or less
unmediated (only by the magnification of the telescope).
