Subject: 11th Workshp on Evidence-Based Practice
Dear Colleagues,
The Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine is running the 11th five day course
on Teaching Evidence-Based Health Care at St. Hugh's College, Oxford, UK on
5th - 9th September 2005.
This year we are able to offer four sponsored places on this workshop: two
donated by CEBM in Oxford, UK one donated by CEBM in Toronto, Canada, and
one donated by Bazian Ltd.( www.bazian.com ). This covers course costs,
accommodation, and meals but you would need to find airfare yourself. The
places are particularly aimed at those from developing countries involved in
teaching EBM
If you wish to apply for one of these four free places we will need your
application in by the end of April 2005, together with a letter outlining:
(1) your background in EBM and
(2) what would you do as a consequence of attending this workshop?
(no more than one A4 page in total).
We believe the course this year will be particularly memorable, with those
agreeing to speak/tutor on the Workshop including:
Prof. Paul Glasziou
Prof. Rod Jackson
Dr. Sharon Straus
Dr. W. Scott Richardson
Prof. Tom Sensky
Prof. John Geddes
Dr. J. A. Muir Gray
Dr. Iain Chalmers
See www.cebm.net for details.
All good wishes,
Paul Glasziou
