hello, my name is Bea Knight, and I am a research midwife in Exeter(Devon)
I am almost at the end of my PhD looking at the paternal determinants of fetal
growth, I now do this 2 days a week, and spend 2 days as a Community midwife.
My areas of interest include looking at the parental contibutiion to fetal and
early childhood growth, and with my clinical hat on - domestic violence issues
particularly related to pregnancy.
I am keen to network, and to be involved in these fora to whatever extent I
can.
could anyone help me with early(birth-2years) childhood BMI, what is this
measure actually measuring? can it be used as a proxy measure of fatness, or
is there a more acurate proxy measure?
thanks in anticipation
Bea Knight
