Research Assistant in Philosophy
Tenure: 6-months in the first instance, with possibility of extension to 1
year dependent on funding.

The Department of History and Philosophy of Science seeks a full-time
research assistant to work with Dr Tim Lewens on a philosophical project
relating to risk and the healthcare industry. In addition to working
closely with Dr Lewens, the successful applicant will be encouraged to take
an active role in the life of the Department. Ideally the applicant will
have a Master's degree in philosophy, with preferred area of specialisation
in the philosophy of science, ethics or political philosophy.
The successful applicant can begin the post as soon as possible. In
exceptional circumstances the successful applicant could take the position
on a part-time basis.
