TEMPORARY DIGITISATION ASSISTANT (PH.C8)
(SIX MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT – SUBJECT TO REVIEW)
Inclusive Salary Up To (Pro Rata) £17,460 Per Annum

St Albans Museums are educational, entertaining and busy! We are looking
for a dynamic, well organised individual to help us progress our image
database to make it more accessible via the World Wide Web.
The Digitisation Assistant will work alongside the Museums Photographer and
Collections Manager to scan, manipulate and catalogue selected images to a
high standard as part of this new and exciting project.
You must be educated to degree standard or equivalent in a relevant subject,
have previous experience of computer based cataloguing systems including
scanning and preparing images for publication with excellent communication
and organisation skills for this post.
Knowledge of PhotoShop to professional standard together with an awareness
of copyright issues is essential and previous experience of a digitisation
project would be an advantage.
