Dear all
As chair of the LIHNN Mental Health Librarians' group (which
hasn't met for some time due to lack of interest) I'd like to
invite all library / KM people who support staff working in
Mental Health and / or Learning Disabilities Services to
reform a group in which people have expressed a renewed
interest.
Let me know if you'd like a copy of the existing terms of
reference, these however will be reviewed by the new group
and are subject to change.
Please let me know as soon as you can if you are interested,
hope to see you on the 24th June over lunch
regards
Hannah

Hi everyone,
=20
As some of you may be aware, part of my role is to co-
ordinate mental
health resources in Greater Manchester. I am hoping to put
together a
project plan in the next few weeks with a view to submitting
a funding
bid to HCLU by 8th July.
=20
I would really like to hear your views about what the project
might look
like, what the important issues are and which approaches will
be most
appropriate. Although the project concentrates on Greater
Manchester in
the first instance, I recognize that there is expertise
across the North
West which would be really helpful and that any outcomes of
the project
may also impact more widely.
=20
After the LIHNN/HCLU briefing on 24th June seems like a good
opportunity
to meet to share ideas about the mental health project and
I'd welcome
input from everyone, not just librarians in Greater
Manchester. I'd be
grateful if you could let me know if you are interested in
getting
together for half an hour or so over lunch to discuss things
further.
Thanks a lot.
=20
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
=20
Kind regards,
Claire
