actually the nhs has always had walk-in centres which have exploded in
popularity since NHSD, COOPs and opt-out. they are called 'minors' in A+E's!
BTW our local MIU has seen x12 cases of minor face and forearm sunburn in
the last 2 days. one pt had the nerve to submit a complaint as she had to
wait 2 hrs to be seen "and missed picking up the kids".
