I did see this, but could not assist I'm afraid. Russ Evans or Roger Musson in Murchison House are the most likely BGS contacts.

Subject: Paper required for seismograph by Science Museum.
Dear All
Adrian Whicher from the Science Museum in London is trying to locate
some paper for a Milne-Shaw
seismograph, which he is trying to get running again. It needs to be
14" wide (width of the drum)and able to take
an ink trace without spreading or blotching.
If anyone knows a potential supplier, or has some experience with these
instruments, Adrian would be very grateful for some advice.
His email is [log in to unmask]
Thanks
Kerry
