Research Scholarships
London South Bank University, one of the leading new universities for
research, is offering a number of Research Scholarships for take up in
October 2005.
Scholarships include the following area of the University's research:
BUSINESS, COMPUTING AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Research may be undertaken in any area of computing of interest to the
Institute, including, but not restricted to: Asynchronous circuits and
systems, Reconfigurable architectures, Concurrency theory, Information
security, Multimedia, Real-time and safety critical systems, Formal methods,
Evolutionary computing, Generative literature, Knowledge-based systems
Scientific computing, Software engineering, Software measurement/quality. A

Scholarships are available to new students on a full-time basis only.
Applicants should possess a 1st or 2.1 degree in an appropriate subject.
Awards are offered for one year in the first instance, renewable for a
further two years, subject to satisfactory progress. For academic session
2005-6, Scholarship awards provide a maintenance grant of £13,000 per annum
and cover tuition fees at the UK/EU rate.
