Subject: PhD Thesis on Picturing Problems
Hi - I have recently supervised a PhD thesis which studied the use of pictures for group problem solving in business. The most common term used for this collaborative sketching is 'Rich Picturing'. The research candidate (Jing) sat in on problem picturing sessions, interviewed managers who said they like to use picturing to facilitate problem solving meetings and analysed 260 pictures found in the literature using the lens of pragmatic systems thinking (which sees itself as a pluralistic problem solving approach). If you are interested in this sort of research, please lets talk.
Regards,
Mike
