Hi,
A colleague of mine is trying to port a Fortran code from
SGI's MIPS compilers over to g95, and has come up against
one "gotcha". Can somebody tell me whether this is a known
problem, or if there's a practical work-around? He's working
with the Mac OSX version of g95.
The problem is that the compiler crashes when it encounters
an internal write or read statement with anything other than
('a') formatting.
For example:
write(mystring,'(a,i3)') 'xxx',100 ! works under SGI, but crashes g95
Thanks,
Catherine
