1. Renumbering Problem - yes, working up from the bottom seems to work
best. From my observations it happens if you change the menu on a course by
adding or renaming menu items and then copy it across to a new course. The
new course will include the default and the amended menu items. However, in
the past it has also happened out of the blue a couple of times.
2. Gradebook problems. Yes, a staff member recently reported problems with
padlocks - apparently they were mushrooming within seconds of him making
the test available. I will investigate further.
