We could indeed, or we could print a mould for wax, cast wax, then do a
lost-wax casting.
As we're using icing sugar, we could cast an intricate icing sugar
mould, cast the wax, dissolve the mould, re-embed the wax in plaster and
then cast.
Or we might be able to print the mould directly from plaster using the
same techniques as we do for icing sugar.
I suspect we'll end up with the ability to manipulate a range of
materials, and hopefully lots of people will explore the possibilities.
