Hi!
Number 3 seems a bit unnecessary as the sender would get two copies, one direct and one from the list.
Otherwise I don't care which way.

Dear all,
As I fully expected, there is no way of pleasing everyone. I have now had
requests which amount to asking that the automatic reply should be to both
the list and the sender. I can certainly do that. I would like,
however, to receive any objection to this before I finally set it.
Contrary to some people belief, the automatic reply has always been set to
the list until today. I don't mind changing it another time but please let
me know what you prefer. I shall now change it if needed on Monday the 19th
of September at lunch-time UK time. This gives you plenty of time to shower
me with e-mails. I shall simply count the number of e-mails in favour of
one or the options below to make the final decision.
The three options are:
1. reply to list
2. reply to sender
3. reply to both of the above
With my very best wishes,
Dominique
