I am resuscitating a Rigaku Gigaflex x-ray powder diffraction system with
two Debye-Scherrer cameras for metallic corrosion and pigment
studies....this has cost me nothing, so is good value for money since the
GADDS system from Bruker for tiny samples costs about 250,000 dollars, but
we used to use Kodax direct exposure film DEF-392 which has now gone out
of production...does anyone in Europe know of, for example, an Agfa
equivalent film that I can order, or am I stuck in the future with fast,
low ASA number, B/W 35mm film once my suppies of Kodax DEF-392 are
exhausted? Views from Europe awaited...with best metallurgical wishes to
all...David.
