As it is a slightly different format to our usual, and Dr Khalili is hosting a reception afterwards, Jane just needs to have a rough idea of numbers.
Many thanks, Rosalind
Prof Antonio Fernandez-Puertas has been excavating in the Alhambra Palace for many years. His talk will focus on the Mexuar (Arabic mishwar or council chamber) in the Palacio de Comares, which underwent many alterations between the 11th and 14th centuries, which posed many questions, and riddles for scholars. Through his extensive research Prof Fernandes-Puertas is the living authority on all its architectural anomalies, and he has been able to solve many of mysteries that successive buildings have masked.

Hon Secretary Islamic Art Circle
