Limit of tenure: Three years from start date
Applications are invited for the above Computer Associate IV post,. The
post-holder will have a first degree in a numerate subject, preferably with
a higher degree or some experience in data management. The post-holder will
be expected to work in collaboration with others as well as independently in
his/her area of expertise. This post would support aspects of the Chair's
research programme, particularly with regard to existing cohort studies.
The current studies are the MRC Cooperative Cognitive Function and Ageing
study (in collaboration with MRC BSU) and the Cambridge City over 75 cohort.
The Chair is also a co-Principal Investigator on an add-on study in the EPIC
programme of research. As well as supporting the data of ongoing studies
the post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development of IT for
the Chair, academic staff, the research teams and students. The post-holder
may be expected to contribute to teaching students and share expertise with
colleagues in the Department.
