Hi Brendan,
I do not know where you get accessible lecterns from, but I think I know a
woman who does!
The trade union unison always uses accessible lecterns and are very
experienced in accessible events.
An important feature is that the lectern should rise and fall as required. I
have been joint speaker, with another wheelchair user, at an event where we
were told the lectern was accessible because there was a high section and a
low section. We could not agree which of us would be stuck behind the high
one. So we did not use it, or the small steeply ramped platform, in the end.
If you contact UNISON's policy officer working on disability issues she may
be able to help.

Subject: Lecterns for Presentations
Hi all,
I have been asked by a firm of solicitors, (ones who are buying into the
spirit and ethos and not just paying lip service!)where they can get an
'Accessible Lectern' that they can use for presentations etc.
Can anyone help?
Cheers
Brendan
