To amplify Gang's question a bit...
We've been using SPM occasionally for two years. The computers we've
used it on have all been x86 boxes with the latest (or nearly latest)
version
of MATLAB, going from RedHat 7.3 to Fedora Core 3.
On each and every one of these machines, SPM has been virtually unusable
because the file selector GUIs used throughout pile the file names on top of
one another.
I seem to recall one installation where the filenames were all written on a
single line, but mostly the problem is that they are written overlapping
about
40% of the filename above them. It is often possible to select the correct
file with trial and error.
I thought I had seen this issue discussed on this list before, but I
can't find a
good search term for the archives.
Here's what we're currently using: Fedora Core 3, Matlab 7.0.4, x86,
spm2 with all patches applied.
