New Approaches for Analysis of STN Data
Looking at STN Express(r) V8.0 and STN(r) AnaVist(tm)
3 November 2005, University of Manchester Conference Centre
15 November 2005, Royal Society of Chemistry Cambridge
In these sessions we will look at what's new in STN Express with
Discover! Analysis Edition V8.0, including the new CAS Registry Number
and Role Report Wizard, the enhancements to the Variable Group (R-group)
Analysis Tool, and the Analyse Plus feature for generation of bar charts
and tables from STN search results.
We will also demonstrate the features of STN AnaVist our new tool for
analysis and visualization of data from three leading sci-tech and
patent resources - CAplus, USPATFULL and PCTFULL. AnaVist offers an
interactive workspace that displays a range of dynamically integrated
visualizations, including bar charts, matrix charts and research
landscapes. We will also look at the data grouping feature that permits
further editing and customization of the extracted data.
These sessions will run from 10:00-1:00 and are FREE of CHARGE.
