Hi Susan
A lot of libraries have this problem because of the tight schedule of the induction sessions. When we have discussed this at Warrington, I suggested that on induction days we could have a stand outside the induction room so people could come over and ask questions either on the way in or out, what Warrington are going to do is organise it so that other services can do a display stand as well, they thought it a good idea. Might be worth suggesting it to them.
I've sent this to the LIHNN list in case anyone else is interested.

Subject: corporate inductions
I would be interested to know how many LIHNN libraries take part in the corporate induction.
Having just secured a 10 minute slot which has had a very positive response in terms of people coming to the library immediately afterwards, there is now a move to have the library slot removed again. Any supportive examples would be welcome.
