Hi Blaine,
If it is a particularly big dataset you might be hitting up against the
linux limit for a single process - you could see if a local sysad could
tune your kernel to allow larger processes - or, you could also try
reducing the FOV (using avwroi) IF you have unneeded space around the
brain in the FMRI data.
