**APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING**
12:00 - 16:00, October 26th, 2005
National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth
The fourth Digital Curation Centre Information Day is being held at the
National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth on Wednesday 26th October. The
meeting will run from midday until 4pm and follows on immediately from
the Digital Asset Management with Fedora and ME

<http://www.llgc.org.uk/fedora_conference.htm>TS awareness events
(http://www.llgc.org.uk/fedora_conference.htm) **which take place on the
preceding two days. We are particularly keen to meet with
representatives of local institutions with an interest in digital
preservation and who would like to learn more about the work of the
Digital Curation Centre. Computing, Information and Library Services and
members of Science faculty are all extended a warm invitation, although
this list is not exhaustive, and we'd also be delighted to welcome other
interested parties, such as archivists, software developers and
representatives of relevant commercial organisations. Participation is
free, but as with previous Information Days spaces are limited; our
experience has shown that restricting the event to around 25
participants helps to create the informal but productive atmosphere that
we feel best enables us to gather requirements and insights from those
taking part. Therefore, the event will be run on a first come, first
served basis.

We look forward to meeting you and your colleagues and hearing of the
role the DCC might play in helping to overcome your Digital Curation
challenges.
