I should have made it clearer that my post was more a question about
what is available rather than a criticism of an omission from the table.
If I recall correctly, while it doesn't actually support HPF as such,
the VMS compiler on ALPHA recognises the syntax of HPF directives and
can give warnings and errors concerning them etc. Thus, one could
develop HPF code on VMS (perhaps, say, to make use of the nice debugger)
and then move it somewhere else, with little or no development needed.
(Again from my days in academia, I remember that much of the big iron
intentionally had no editors or other development tools and perhaps not
even interactive logins.)
