The Fortran warnings are harmless. They're there because Toby (working
on the Fortran support) committed to the wrong branch one time. As I
understand it, it's just a warning that you don't have a F95 compiler,
which should be silenced. It should disappear when Toby and I merge
his work into the mainline, but that's not urgent, because most of the
work he's doing is in support of F95, and is barely touching the F77
stuff we're interested in.
The sys/time.h warnings: this is saying that the preprocessor can find
the header in question, but the compiler can't. The relevant
AC_CHECK_HEADERS should be adjusted, as described in that autoconf
manual section.
