In addition to Dunc's response,
You'll know to remember that:
Using google, it will not index parts of your institution which use domain names other than abertay.ac.uk
Some folks here have asked me about why their "strathclyde-a-unit.ac.uk" or "strathclyde-a-unit.co.uk" isnt found, they dont really understand that google uses just:
" yoursearchterm site:strath.ac.uk "
What set up do you have... windows server 2003 running IIS 6.0
have you looked at the M$ search app?
Or maybe their new search offering may be 'given' to institutions ..
Merry Xmas folks,
Col

Subject: Site Search Tools
What is everyone using to search their sites both internet and intranet? I am looking at both ht://Dig and Google. Are there any others or does anyone have any opinions?
Cheers,
