I have been carrying out focus groups with households. Up until now they
have been with a maximum of four people. I am now transcribing an
interview with six females in their early twenties - there is some
variation in their voices but at times they all sound the same! Does
anyone have any tips for identifying voices on a tape. The focus group is
recorded onto a normal cassette. I have asked each person to say their
name and introduce themselves at the beginning of the focus group.
Many thanks,
