David - How convenient that the opportunity arose to play with 2 A's!
Personally, I am in favor of the Art/Aesthetics change (although I wonder if
it should be Arts rather than Art??) in part because it reflects how we have
changed as a group.
Best,
Michael

Subject: AACORN?
Hi everyone,
Our little webgroup is facing a dilemma. Given the problems we've run into
trying to host the site at LLD (too many firewalls), we've gone ahead and
purchased our own domain: www.aacorn.net (all the other 'acorn.dots' were
purchased long ago).
The question is whether you think we should change our name to reflect the
site, something like "Art/Aesthetics, Creativity, and Organization Research
Network". I personally would like it--it would signal where the group is
focusing these days. But I can also see arguments against it. Please let us
know.
As an update, things are starting to move along well now with the site. Ralph
Bathurst and John Churchley (and his son) are working directly on the it in
Dreamweaver, while the rest of us (Laurene Vaghan, Ken Friedman, Hilde, and
I) are helping out from the sidelines. Meanwhile we've put the old site into
mothballs--still using some of the content, but otherwise not fiddling with
it anymore. David
