All,
Pass this one to stardev list as it relates to a few packages.

Subject: cursa and topcat
Can you advise me if there has been some infrastructure change which has
caused a problem with specifying the value of a character string type
column in order to define a selection in a catalogue using either
xcatview or topcat?
Previously in xcatview it was possible to define a selection by
FIELD = "ABC" for example, but this doesn't work any more.
Clive Davenhall has suggested to me that a workaround may be
FIELD = ""ABC"" and this seems to work on both Linux and Solaris.
However, I cannot find anything which works at all on Topcat - can
anyone there help please?
Thanks,
Sally Hales , MRAO Cambridge
