According to Jackson's Language and History in Early Britain (1953, viii)
the full Max Förster reference is 'Der Flussname Themse und seine Sippe,
Studien zur Anglisierung kelticher Eigennamen und zur Lautchronologie des
Altbritischen' (Munich, Sitzungsberichte der Bayerischen Akademie der
Wissenschafter, Philosophisch-historische Abteilung, Jahrgang 1941;
published in 1942). Jackson writes of how he didn't get to see a copy until
1947.
Jackson (1953) discusses the various Nennius manuscripts on pp47-52, rather
too lengthy to copy out here, but let me know if you need them.

Might some kind soul be familiar with the PNRB reference to Max Förster (p.
488) quoting a 13c MS of Nennius: 'quam Britones insulam Gueid vel Guith,
quod latine "divortium" dici potest'? I'm looking for his specific MS
source, or at least the source of the quote - Der Flußname Themese?
