If people in this group would wish to develop their actual e-teaching
approaches in connection with their interest into research into distance
education, you might consider our international course in Online Education
and Training. The course itself is a good basis for research.
This is a long-established London University short course, starting online
January 28 2005 for 10 non-intensive part-time weeks, or by blended
learning April 25 for 5 weeks. Content is the same, and both carry 20
credits that can be taken into either an Advanced Diploma in Professional
Studies or a Master's. All the tutors have many years of experience as
online tutors and trainers.
You'll find it a forum for rich structured collaborative learning with UK
and world-wide educators. We use a range of multimedia materials and
various platforms to consider different methods of teaching and syllabus
design issues, closely tied to workplace needs. The optional meeting on day
1 will offer web platform training and include a relevant talk
