Dear All
Apologies for cross posting.
Just to let you know, the National Disability Team (NDT) has published a
set of statistical tables that describe the disabled students on higher
education (HE) courses.
By working with the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), we have
been able to express the HE participation of disabled students on HE
institution programmes by a number of variables including level of study,
mode of study and gender.
The tables can be freely viewed from the resources pages of our website
at: http://www.natdisteam.ac.uk/resources_statistics_oncourse.html
Over the coming months we will be publishing more statistics which cover
the student life cycle, including statistics. I will let the list know as
soon as any new data is available.
If you have any queries about the way the NDT have collated and displayed
the HESA statistics, please do not hesitate to contact Mike Wray, National
Co-ordinator (tel: 0161 9556930, or email: [log in to unmask]) or Sarah
Holland, Researcher (tel: 01245 607508 or email: [log in to unmask]).
If you would like to know more about HESA, or the data they collect,
please visit their website at: http://www.hesa.ac.uk or tel: 01242 255577.
Sarah Holland
NDT researcher
