* Bridget Thompson on 'Holocaust poetry, survivor poetry: questions
of time and referentiality'
Friday October 14th 2005 The Holocaust and Other Genocides
* Dan Stone on 'British imperialism and Holocaust memory'
* Mark Levene on 'Why comparing genocides is not enough'
* Donald Bloxham on 'Comparative Genocide'
The workshops are is open to undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and
others. The idea of the 'workshop' format is to explore debates arising from
specific issues in Holocaust Studies in an informal atmosphere. There will
be three papers, plenty of time for conversation and a final 'open' panel
Pre-booking is essential
The workshop will begin at 9.30 and finish no later than 4.30 pm.
