If people in this group would wish to think about e-teaching approaches in
connection with their interest in HCI, you might consider our international
course in Online Education and Training. We would welcome some more
technically oriented people, as well as teachers, librarians, and others
likely to be part of e-course teams.
This is a long-established London University short course, starting online
January 28 2005 for 10 non-intensive part-time weeks, or by blended
learning April 25 for 5 weeks. Content is the same, and both carry 20
credits that can be taken into either an Advanced Diploma in Professional
Studies or a Master's. All the tutors have many years of experience as
online tutors and trainers.
You'll find it a forum for rich structured collaborative learning with UK
and world-wide educators. We use a range of multimedia materials and
various platforms to consider different methods of teaching and syllabus
design issues, closely tied to workplace needs. The optional meeting on day
1 will offer web platform training and include a relevant talk
