I had my toe trephined that way. The hole was small and it blocked.
About an hour and a half later I was in pain again.
I didn't have a flame, heating up a paper clip on the cooker didn't work
- so the soldering iron it had to be. Worked but was slow - so took a
few goes and much teeth gritting.
Was about 3 in the morning with me starting my first paeds job at 9 :)
I got some sleep afterwards :)
I remain a paper-clip man.
Cheers
