Norman,
Is there an environment variable or configure/make option to specify where
the make dist tar.gz file will be placed, I need all of them to be placed in
the same directory.
Steve.

Norman,
The ssn78 build produces the output below and stalls:

Norman,
Is there any reason you can think of as to why building ssn78 should stall
when running latex? The nightly build appears to have stalled when building
ssn78, and I cannot debug as to why because autobuild does not release the
output of a package build until it has finished the build or the build
fails. I suppose latex could have encountered an error in the ssn78 source
and is waiting for input.
Steve.

Norman,
Autobuild deals with dependencies; in fact you cannot just specify the order
in which the software packages should be built, as it calculates that from
the dependencies you specify. I calculate a unique list of dependencies from
the componentset.xml file with the xslt script.

Sounds good. If the checkout is a full one, then the generated
Makefile.dependencies and componentset.xml would be (well, should be)
correct, and can be recommitted if they have in fact changed. This
would also give the system a chance to generate the build-sequence file
I mentioned a couple of days ago, if the build needs that (which is
presumably the case, no?).
See you,
Norman
