Hello List,
Does anyone have a diagram or illustration of some kind that helps to
explain how all the various elements of records/information/knowledge
management fit together. This would with any luck include all the
disciplines aligned to each area and brief explanation of each.
I can imagine there must be a venn diagram kind of thing somewhere that
depicts these relationships.
I have a meeting next week with our directors to try and influence their
decision about where an "information manager" should be placed within the
organisation. This is further complicated by their assumption that they will
be able to recruit a single person capable and responsible for all aspects
so I would like to explain as simply as possible all the skills and
disciplines and interrelationships within this field.
