Call for Papers: International Journal of Event Management Research
The Editorial Board of the International Journal of Event Management
Research calls for the submission of papers for the first edition in 2005.
The eJournal is a double blind, peer reviewed publication which seeks to
disseminate and promote research findings and good practice in all aspects
of event management. The eJournal will be published twice yearly with
intermittent Special Editions.
Types of papers submitted to the journal should include:
* Articles (completed research, 4000 - 7000 words)
* Research Notes (description of work in progress (1000 - 2000
words)
* Industry Views (perspectives from practitioners, 1000 words)
* Book Reviews (1000 words)
Manuscripts
* Manuscripts must be emailed as a Word attachment
* References and citations should strictly follow APA style
* The first page of the manuscript should include the title of the
paper and the author's name, affiliation, street address, telephone and
email address
* The second page should contain the title of the paper, an abstract
which outlines the aims and conclusions of the paper (approximately 150
words) and up to three key words
* The paper should include appropriate headings in keeping with APA
format
* Correspondence will be only with the first author
Please Note:
* Deadline for the April edition of the International Journal of
Event Management Research is January 31, 2005
* Articles must be original pieces not published in any form, anywhere
previously
* Authors will be expected to sign a copyright clearance statement
* Receipt of manuscripts will be acknowledged as soon as possible
* Authors should receive reviewers' feedback within a 6 week period
