Specialist lecturers from Middlesex University examine the impact of ideas about modernity & modernism on everyday homes in the first half of the twentieth century.
A weekly lecture is followed by time for discussion.
No previous knowledge is necessary, though an interest in twentieth-century design will be an advantage.

* Barry Curtis - The English Home in the 1950s (20th Oct)
* Barry Curtis - The English Home in the 1960s (27th Oct)
* Paul Overy - The home: flats or houses (3rd Nov)
* Michael-Ann Mullen - Developments in the garden 1918-1939 (10th Nov)
* Michael-Ann Mullen - The 1951 Festival of Britain and the gardens we see today (17th Nov)
Tickets: £60.00 or £50.00 concessions.
